Would change our mind Sudden strategy pivots or public political endorsements tied to portfolio themes.
Not a diagnosis. Nobody here has examined Reid, and no clinical term appears in this section. This is an interpretation of public behaviour by people who are not their doctor. We publish it because when this much power sits with one person, what drives them stops being a private matter — not to excuse anything, and not to explain it away.

DOJ-released emails and itineraries document Hoffman's 2013–2018 contact with Epstein
2014 · Justice Department Epstein records release (emails and itineraries, 2013–2018)
NBC News reported that the Justice Department's release of Epstein records includes emails and itineraries referencing Reid Hoffman. According to that reporting, the material shows Epstein scheduling contact with Hoffman several times between 2013 and 2018 by email, Skype and in person; a 2013 message from Hoffman asking to set up a Skype call about when Epstein would be at his island; a 2014 message in which Hoffman wrote that he had sent gifts to Epstein's New York home; and a shared interest in cryptocurrency. Hoffman has said he "only knew Jeffrey Epstein because of a fundraising relationship" connected to MIT, which he has said he regrets, and that he visited the island with then-MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito, who had asked him to help MIT fundraise from Epstein. Hoffman denied visiting Epstein's New Mexico ranch. NBC reported the same ties had surfaced in earlier releases of the files. Appearing in these records is not evidence of wrongdoing, and no accusation against Hoffman arises from them. [Removed: the claim that Hoffman "has publicly called for the release of all Epstein-related documents" — not supported by the cited NBC article and not independently sourced this session. Restore only with its own citation.]
